Revo Technik showcases 2.0L TFSi stage III turbo upgrades at SEMA show, with a modded GLi on display, the result of many months of development, in a joint collaboration with Johnston Research & Performance of Ontario, Canada. The kit uses a Garrett GT3076 turbo, a hand built, equal length tubular manifold with a 4 inch collector, external wastegate and downpipe with integrated dump tube. Manifold construction features back purged TIG welds that are uniform and have even penetration inside and out. This eliminates stress points and ensures long term durability. Considerable time was given to design and the result is a compact package that is easy to install and fits beautifully. The length and configuration of the runners optimises exhaust energy, which translates to quick spool up and top end efficiency. The upgrade has created much excitement and this prototype kit will be going into production very shortly. Watch this space for more news! …
