Revo Technik at the ROLEX DAYTONA 24 HOUR RACE - January 24th/25th

The first race of the 2009 Grand-Am Championship is always the biggest! Unlike other sports the Jewel in the Crown kicks off the season, with the world famous Rolex Daytona 24 over Saturday and Sunday 24-25th of January.

The red number 64 Porsche 997 GT is entered by JLowe Racing and run by the superb Farnbacher-Loles team. The Farnbacher squad are complimented by several of J Lowe's own engineers and staff with a view to ensuring the very best effort to win this prestigious event.

The team have available a brand new 2009 car, straight from the Porsche factory in Germany and have already shaken the car down at the 3 day test in early January.

The car boasts a superb driver line up with Revo Technik sponsored British driver Tim Sugden being joined by Johhanes Van Overbeek, Jim Lowe and Jim Pace, all four of which were part of the line up in 2008 where the team finished 4th.

Speaking before the race Tim Sugden said “This race is one of the most famous events in the world and just to be at Daytona in January makes the hairs stand up on your neck. To actually do the race with such an awesome team and amazing team mates is all a driver can ask. I really can't wait for next weekend.”
