Immobiliser Defeat

Designed for the enthusiast considering transplanting a petrol VAG engine into an older or non-VAG vehicle.

Modern factory Engine Control Units (ECU) come equipped with an advanced engine immobiliser function in order to deter theft of the vehicle. These immobiliser functions have to be defeated in order to successfully transplant a modern engine into another vehicle.

The Revo Immobiliser defeat code allows the use of the stock ECU without the added cost and complexity that is normally involved in such an engine transplant or conversion. Using the standard ECU means you retain the factory safety parameters and on later FSI vehicles is the only way to run the FSI setup. The only other options are to either use costly aftermarket management systems or to install the donor vehicle's instrument cluster and associated immobiliser components.

This product is only available in conjunction with a Revo performance software upgrade and the ECU will need to be sent to your regional Revo office through your local revo dealer or mailed directly.

The cost of the immobiliser defeat code is an additional charge on top of the relevant Revo performance software.

Currently available for the Bosch ME7 and MED9 petrol ECUs only, for any other requests please speak to your local Revo support office.
