When purchasing select or select plus device, you will enjoy the additional benefits
of a built in anti-theft program.
The anti-theft modes on the select switches allow you to totally disable
your vehicle's ECU. It will leave the car totally inoperable even if
the thief has the keys. Unlike other security devices there are no mechanical
installation requirements such as wiring looms.
Once Revo performance software has been installed, you can purchase
an optional select device and follow the simple and clear instructions
supplied.
To arm the anti theft program you select “anti-theft
ON”, from your SPS, plug it into the OBD2 port found in the cockpit
of the car, wait 5 seconds for an audible beep, remove your SPS device
and the car becomes totally inoperable.
The car will start and idle, but when the accelerator pedal
is depressed, the car will not advance pass idle!
To disarm the program you simply select “anti-theft OFF”,
from your SPS device and follow the same procedure. The car will now
return to standard (or your Revo performance program) and can now safely
drive the car.
Please note: To benefit from the functions in our SPS devices, Revo
performance software must be present in your vehicle.
